Technical Sales Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our well established client.
Responsibilities:
* Help in the design of custom designed products.
* Process Design (with assistance).
* Mechanical Design (with assistance).
* P&ID drawings (where appropriate).
* Produce Data Sheets.
* Cost estimation.
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
* Compilation of quotation and associated documentation.
* Attend bid clarification meetings.
* Search for new clients who may benefit from the company products and services, and maximise current client potential.
* Provide general technical / process assistance to the sales team.
* Visit clients, attend exhibitions (some travel & overnight stays may be involved).
* Liaise with other departments to ensure contracts are ‘handed over’ from sales correctly.
* Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events when needed.
Requirements:
* Chemical/Process or Mechanical Engineering Degree (BEng or MEng).
* Working both independently and in a team-orientated environment.
* Advanced interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels.
* Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Commercially aware.
Working hours: 39.5 hours per week / flexitime.
Salary: Competitive.
