As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will support warehouse and distribution operations, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. This role involves working closely with logistics, warehouse, and IT teams to streamline processes and drive improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee distribution processes, from order processing to dispatch.
* Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimise stock control and storage.
* Utilise systems like WMS, CRM, ERP, and MS Office to track and report performance.
* Lead and develop a team, setting clear objectives and fostering a positive work culture.
* Identify and implement process improvements, aligning with company sustainability goals.
Skills & Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Background in distribution, logistics, or warehouse supervision.
* Skills: Strong IT, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with Health & Safety standards.
