Payroll Advisor - Fixed term contract of 18 months - Liverpool - Hybrid
Salary: up to £32,000 (DOE)
Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation in the Liverpool area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join their team. They provide an excellent working environment, work from home opportunity and discounts!
The client is going through a period of growth and need a Payroll Advisor to join their busy payroll department.
This role has every opportunity of going permanent during the contract period.
Key Duties/Tasks:
Technical skills including Oracle System & excel
Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
Must have very strong Excel as lots of manual processing
High volume & fast paced role
Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.
Manual calculations
Experience of T & A system useful
Oracle system ideally
Desirable skills and attributes:
2-3 years Industry experience minimum
Previous payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environment
A keen eye for detail
Enjoy working within a team
Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
Confident with Excel
CIPP advantageous not essential

Pension 9% employer contribution, minimum 6% employee contribution (option of match 5% pension too)

Normal working hours are 35 hours per week, 8.30am to 5pm with 1-hour unpaid break.
