Neuro Occupational Therapist
Location: Midlands
Contract Locum
Hours: Full-time
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate
IMC Locums are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuro Occupational Therapist for a role in the Midlands. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for neurological rehabilitation and helping clients improve their quality of life. The successful candidate will work with clients affected by neurological conditions to support their recovery and enhance daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs following neurological trauma or conditions.
Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans to improve clients' functional independence.
Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, person-centered care.
Documenting and evaluating progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Providing guidance to clients and their families, offering education on managing neurological challenges.
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in neuro rehabilitation (preferably within community or inpatient settings).
Strong assessment, planning, and organizational skills.
Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
