Job Description
An opportunity for a contractor to work with an established industry leader to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals for engineering machinery projects by analysing client requirements, collaborating with internal teams, and aligning with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Proposal Development:
* Prepare accurate technical and cost estimates, project schedules, and documentation.
* Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to ensure proposal feasibility.
2.
Client Interaction:
* Engage with clients to clarify requirements and present proposals.
* Address technical queries during the pre-award phase.
3.
Market Knowledge:
* Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
* Align proposals with the company’s capabilities.
4.
Documentation & Reporting:
* Maintain records of proposals and client communications.
* Report on proposal outcomes and customer feedback.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Strong engineering knowledge, particularly in machinery manufacturing.
* Proficiency in CAD, cost estimation, and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Understanding of pricing strategies and contract terms.
