Job Description
Are you an experienced Site Agent ready to step up, or a Senior Site Agent seeking a fresh challenge in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland? We are recruiting for a Senior Site Agent to join our client, a respected contractor working on the Scottish Water Framework. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects in and around Inverness and the Highlands, with responsibility for ensuring top standards in quality, safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Manage and oversee water infrastructure projects on the Scottish Water Framework from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
* Health & Safety: Lead and enforce a safety-first culture, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with health and safety protocols.
* Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to quality control measures and contract specifications, conducting regular site audits.
* Stakeholder Management: Liaise with Scottish Water representatives, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project coordination.
* Team Management: Supervise and mentor site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
About You:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent within civil engineering, ideally with experience in water or utilities projects.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., HND, HNC, or degree in Civil Engineering) and valid SMSTS certification.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively.
* Location Flexibility: Willingness to travel to sites across Inverness and the Highlands.
