Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction
Our client are a National Construction and Maintenance business who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their North East business. They work on a variety of projects including new build commercial, industrial, Education and healthcare and Social Housing projects. They are looking for someone with experience of retrofit and housing maintenance ideally.
Roles, responsibilities and qualifications:
· Review of tender documentation
-CVR's
-Cost analysis
-Final Accounts
-2 Stage Tender experience
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor - preferable
- Programme management
· Working with supply chain to provide accurate tenders
· Review of supply chain tender returns
· Preparation of budget costings
· Providing sales and estimating documentation
· Working directly with the clients
· Internal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awards
· Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards
- Managing other Estimators
· Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying
· Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft excel, word, outlook and notable construction estimating software packages
· Main contracting experience
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Driving licence
