Project Engineer
A Project Engineer is sought to join a leading provider of factory automation & robotic systems. A project background in special purpose machinery or automation / automated machinery would be ideal. You must already live in the Gloucester area.
A solid project engineering or design engineer background in engineering or manufacturing is essential - ideally having engineering experience dealing with sectors such as: food manufacturing or medical or automotive.
Your background may be in special purpose machinery, materials handling or similar engineered-to-order environments
Sector such as medical, automotive or the food industry as these are the sectors the company works.
The Role
The purpose is to manage projects from scoping & specification with customer, design phase, equipment build, testing, installation & commissioning and hand over - you should therefore have experience of this nature.
As required be on site with a customer and trouble shoot or fault find, coming up with the initial solution along with engineering team
You will manage project budgets ranging from £50k-£5m
Plan, organize and manage customer meetings and design reviews.
Generate project budget
Retain project ownership beyond the delivery phase into the warranty and after-sales phase. Requirements
Project Engineering background - design and customer facing exposure
Famililarity with relevant manufacturing sectors; automotive, food, medical
2D / 3D CAD
HNC or higher Mechanical Engineering, Controls or Automation related
Full driving licence

Salary £40K-£50K
25 days holiday plus BH
