We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Teacher (Maths Specialism) - Primary to join our team in Chelmsford. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with primary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, making a meaningful impact on their education and development. As an SEMH Teacher (Maths Specialism) - Primary, you will play a key role in delivering a supportive and engaging curriculum, with a focus on Mathematics, to help students build confidence and achieve academic progress.
As an SEMH Teacher (Maths Specialism) - Primary, you will be responsible for creating tailored lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs, providing both academic and emotional support, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will collaborate closely with other staff members to develop and implement effective strategies to address each student's unique challenges. This role requires a dedicated SEMH Teacher (Maths Specialism) - Primary who can effectively manage classroom dynamics and help students reach their full potential in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to SEMH students at the primary level.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies.
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure cohesive support for each child.
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive social interactions.
