Female Live-In Carer needed for Lady with Progressive MS
this position is initially for one weeks trial with the opportunity for a permanent ongoing placement
Position: Live-In Carer

Contract Type: Temp, Live-In
Salary: £750 Per Week
Start Date: 13th November
Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Live-In Carer to provide support for a lovely lady living with progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and experienced in providing care for individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
* Support mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
* Administer medication and manage health care routines as prescribed.
* Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
* Engage in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
* Monitor and document changes in health and behaviour reporting to healthcare professionals as necessary.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in live-in care or caregiving, especially for individuals with MS or similar conditions.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ in Health and Social Care, first aid training) are preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
* Live-in position with private accommodations provided.
* Flexibility in working hours; ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
