SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Secondary and Sixth Form aged pupils NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a SEN School in Wakefield (Pontefract) who are looking for a SEN Support Worker to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with multiple and complex needs who are aged between 11 - 19 years.
The school are looking to meet candidates next week and are looking for staff who have experience working with children with complex needs.
SEN Support Worker roles and Responsibilities:
Support the students with their learning and daily routines in both indoor and outdoor provisions.
Support children with Multiple SEN needs
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.
Support the student with their social, emotional and physical needs as well as help support them with their learning.
