Senior Quantity Surveyor
Civils / Groundworks Contractor
South Yorkshire
£60k - £70k + Car / Allowance + Benefits
Our client is a well-established, reputable civil engineering contractor looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.
From sustainable remediation techniques to bulk earthworks and infrastructure projects, they are the preferred contractor for clients in both the public and private sector, with contract values ranging from £100k to £15m.
The addition of a Quantity Surveyor is due to a large upturn in work and a growing portfolio of clients and projects.
If successful, your main duties will be:
Measure and prepare valuations
Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts
Recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts
Managing financial accounts and report to senior management on the project performance
Liaising and presenting to the client on the project performance
Securing payments from customers within the specified contract terms
Subcontract procurement and management of subcontractor accounts
Pre-contract pricing and agreement project costs.
You will need:
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
Civil Engineering experience from a QS perspective
At least 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on earthworks projects
Client facing resolution experience
