Salary/rate:
Salary is paying up to £50,000 - £52,000 + Company Vehicle Fuel Card.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements -
· Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, RICS accredited).
· Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in disrepair assessments and expert witness work.
· Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and construction practices.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· A valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
About the company:
A well-established Social Housing company who are looking for an experienced and qualified Disrepair Surveyor to join thier team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building surveying and be capable of undertaking expert witness work. This role involves writing detailed pathology reports, advising on preventative and remedial works, and providing Section 11 housing disrepair reports.
About the role:
The role will be covering Greater Manchester and the Midlands from Manchester, Nottingham, Derby etc.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential properties to assess disrepair issues.
· Prepare detailed pathology reports outlining the findings and providing clear recommendations for preventative and remedial works, along with our Scheduled of Works report.
· Undertake expert witness work, presenting findings and recommendations in legal settings when required.
· Produce Section 11 housing disrepair reports in compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
· Discuss findings and advise on necessary actions.
· Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service.
