Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join the team, the ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards through detailed inspections and analysis.
Job Description:
Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts, ensuring compliance to requirements before release
In process and finished goods inspection
Logging direct activities onto ERP system
Communication of quality failures to relevant department and managers
Carrying out audits
Undertake First Article Inspection Reports activities in accordance with internal processes
Calibration of measuring equipment
To support the supply chain to both internal and external customers
Signing first and last inspection reports
Reporting of non-conforming parts and ensuring containment is completed
To ensure zero defects reach end userPerson Specification:
Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to use equipment such as Verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or FARO
Work on your own and as part of a teamHours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:45 however there maybe the need to work two shifts to support the shop floor as and when requiredAdditional Information:
Pension – Match up to 6%
