Head of Finance (m/f) - France

• Work closely with the CPA firm, the Danish Headquarters, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective financial planning, compliance, and reporting
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across financial processes

Your role
Your key responsibilities will revolve around Financial, Administrative, Stakeholders and Relationship management. You will also have Legal and Corporate, Data Protection and Cybersecurity responsibilities as well as Team supervision.

You will step into subjects as accounting oversight, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cash flow and treasury management reporting, regulatory compliance and investment and risk management.

Your function will also include overseeing office operations in Paris and Lyon, as well as ensuring the proper documentation and record management along with digital transformation activities.

You will play a key role in the legal and corporate duties, such as reviewing and managing contracts ensuring legal compliance, organizing stakeholders’ meetings and administering legal matters for the French Holding and its 20+ SPVs.

Furthermore, you will also ensure GDPR compliance and robust cybersecurity measures besides acting as the primary point of contact for auditors, accountants, tax authorities, banks, (tax) lawyers and insurance brokers, supervising relationships with banking and insurance partners and overseeing and supporting the tasks of the Office Manager.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• You are extensively experienced in financial management, including accounting, financial planning, and legal matters, preferably within a holding group structure
• You have a strong knowledge of French and international accounting standards, tax regulations, corporate governance practices, and GDPR compliance
• You are able to lead process improvements, digital transformation initiatives, and manage cross-functional teams
• You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• You own strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both French and English
• Experience in renewable energy sectors, particularly in financial analysis of wind and solar projects is a plus
• Proficiency in financial software and MSOffice tools, Navision and Dynamics 365
