Indirect Procurement Buyer (Pl Analyst)

Main Responsibilities

1. The buyer will be responsible for handling the procurement needs of various departments and strive to continuously minimize the procurement cycle and find the most cost-effective materials & services.


2. The buyer will attend the departments located at SP Office, especially Commercial, Marketing, Admin, HR, Legal, Compliance, EGA, Finance, Sales, and After Sales Departments.


3. Interact with each demand department, deal with all kinds of problems in the material & service purchasing process, and report to the manager.


4. Receive the demands through Mercado Eletrônico e-Procurement system, or the tasks submitted by leaders.


5. Ask for quotations by e-Procurement system, check the prices and costs, prepare price comparison and sourcing explanation to leaders.


6. Communicate and solve problems with relevant business parties.


7. Ensure the disposal and implementation of all indirect procurement requirements.


8. Implement the company's various procurement plans, including the procurement of indirect materials, fixed assets, outsourcing services, etc., to meet the needs of various departments.


9. Continuously promote savings to the company's procurement cost through measures such as price negotiation, localization, spec change, brand replacement, introduction of new suppliers, material optimization, etc.


10. Manage and improve the procurement process and optimize the operation process to improve overall work efficiency, continuously shorten the procurement process, and improve material quality.


11. Implement and participate in procurement project negotiation, contract signing, material payment requests, material management, supplier management, and related party management, ensuring compliance with procurement management regulations.


12. Achieve the requirements of purchasing application completion rate, on-time delivery rate, supplier performance evaluation, and corruption risk prevention, while identifying process problems and suggesting optimizations.

Required Experience

1. Fluency in English.


2. Bachelor's degree.


3. Experience in other car makers or large multinational companies is desirable.


4. Good communication and persuasion skills.


5. 1-5 years of purchasing experience in commercial areas (marketing, production planning, sales and after sales), HR and Admin, IT (equipment, software, outsourcing), etc.


6. Experience in indirect/direct/bidding procurement.


7. Deep knowledge of all indirect procurement processes, step by step.


8. Work skill and logical thinking using the 5W2H tool /3A.


9. Experience with local e-procurement systems.


10. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of Power BI is desirable.


11. Ability to work independently and self-discipline.


12. Must have a Driver's License and availability to travel to our plant in Iracemápolis town and visit suppliers.
