Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 12/3/2024
Available Shifts: 10 D
Pay Rate: $2311.46 - $2663.21
Cath Lab / EP/ VIT Tech needed asap for 13 weeks
Float between Cath Lab/IR/EP – within limits of skillsets
Might float to help in prep/recovery; RTs will not take patient assignment but help with turnover and flow
Inpatient and Outpatient
Adults and some IR Peds (not common)
Take all levels of acuity (diagnostic to cardiogenic shock)
2-years minimum experience in Cath Lab/IR
Will you accept first time travelers? No, need at least 1-year travel experience
Skillsets required:
Travel staff are assigned to modalities based on their experience/competency. Experience in two modalities preferred (CL, EP,IR/N/V)
RN: Read and interpret EKG, Cardiac Drip Titration, Scrub experience (preferred)
RN: Read and interpret EKG, Cardiac Drip Titration, Scrub experience (preferred)
Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
IR Techs: scrub and circulate. Neuro experience preferred.
CL techs: scrub, pan x-ray table, and monitor.
EP techs: scrub and pan x-ray table. EP monitor experience preferred.

Charting System/Equipment:
CERNER PowerChart for the hospital
Merge hemodynamics
Alaris IV pumps
Pyxis
Specialty equipment used: Phillips x-ray in Cath Lab and EP, Siemens x-ray for IR/Neuro-Vascular, Maquet balloon pump, Impella, CSI, Angiojet/Jetstream, Phillips Laser, EKOS, Sonosite for ultrasound, Abbott for FFR, Boston Scientific for IVUS, MedRad Arterion for IR, MedRad Avanta for Cath Lab, Penumbra, CardioMems
