A county facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Santa Barbara (Downtown).
The facility serves adults, kids, and transition-age youth, and also offers Justice Involved Programs, Crisis Services, and CARE Court. The clinician is expected to conduct utilization reviews for PHF charts, necrology reviews, second opinions related to medication, polypharmacy and medication reviews, incident/unusual occurrence reviews, and monitoring of PAs and nurse practitioners. The hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility if needed. It is important to note that no direct services will be provided at the PHF; the role is solely focused on reviewing PHF charts.
