Physician / Geriatrics / Tennessee / Locum or Permanent / Geriatric Psychiatry opening in Johnson City, TN Job

Seeking BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrist to join Hospital. This is a physician led, professionally managed organization with more than 750 providers in varying specialties.

• Will provide coverage for the Geriatric Psych units at 2 facilities
• 7 on/7off rotation may also be needed to provide adult psych coverage in other units
• Call will be required - 1:6 night call coverage
• Will provide inpatient consult coverage at 1 location.
• Team: PMHNP s on staff to assist on the unit and to see adult consults.
• Social Workers/ Therapist onsite
• Treatment Team done daily
• RN/LPN/ Tech staff
• Nurse Manager on both units
• Hours/Day: 8-Hour day, can begin at 8am or 9am. 8-5 or 9-6.
• 2nd certs (CON s) during call: 2nd certs are required for any TN admissions which are involuntary, these are done via laptop or tablet and secure portal. Details listed above.
• Unit demographics: Gero-psych patients
• Main diagnosis: bipolar, schizo affective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, suicidal ideations.
• Availability: Immediately.
• EMR: EPIC
