Job Description
**Job Title:** X-Ray Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology
**Job Duration:** 26 weeks
**Shift:** Night 4x10-Hour (20:00 - 06:30), Monday to Thursday
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year required; First-time applicants accepted
**License:** State License (pending accepted)
**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT required
**Must-Have:** EPIC charting experience, Work experience in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, emergency room, pediatric intensive care unit, and adult intensive care unit
**Job Description:**
- Provide X-ray services in a department that supports three different operating room pods, emergency room patients, and floor unit patients within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
- Handle daily caseload of more than 15 patients.
- Support operations using C-Arms, O-arms, and Rad-links; training will be provided for O-arm and Radlink.
- Perform X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, lower and upper extremities, and surgery with C-Arm.
- Float within the scope to meet facility needs, including within the operating room, emergency department, and portables.
- Possess work setting experience in Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environments.
- Ensure fit testing compliance with facial hair requirements; willingness to shave if necessary for proper testing.
- Work without weekend or on-call duties; may float between locations as needed.
- Follow holiday policy requirements by working two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
- Adhere to required time off and returns to service policies for consistent employment patterns.
- Participate in a 40-hour orientation to familiarize with hospital policies and equipment.
