Job Details

• Travel rate available for local travelers starting on or before 12/16.


• Contract duration: 8 weeks up to March 15, 2025.


• Work schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week (No OT until after 48 hours).


• Shift: 12-hour nights.


• Self-scheduling based on unit needs and with Nurse Manager input.


• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.


• Float requirement: Occasionally.


• Target patient ratios: 1:6.


• Patient population: Surgery patients (colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics/spine).


• Unit systems: Pyxis, SBAR, EPIC.


• Scrubs: Navy blue or white.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience (1.5 years accepted with strong experience).


• First-time travelers accepted.


• Required skills: IV Start and Telemetry.


• Certifications: BLS.


• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start.

Note: Must work a minimum of 2 holidays during the contract. The unit manager is willing to accommodate emergent situations with additional RTO, provided it is made up at the end of the contract.

Orientation

36 hours of unit orientation provided to ensure a smooth transition into our team.
