In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our newer Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facility in Clayton, NC sits on 825,000 square-feet of state-of-the-art equipment, and houses the Fermentation, Recovery and Purification in the production of ingredients for Novo Nordisk’s innovative oral products. The Position

Responsible for providing clerical, administrative & process support. Assist the Director and/or Department Leadership Team in document controlling, scheduling, meeting logistics, travel coordination, presentation development, & KPI tracking, etc.

Relationships

Director, as assigned.

Essential Functions

Provide administrative support to the Department Leadership Team, as requiredAssist in the collection, entry, tracking, & reporting of KPIsAssist with completion of projects or non-conformities requiring data processing, filing, collection of data, etc.Assist in document controllingAssist Project Managers with meeting minutes, weekly reporting, CR administrationServes as ISOtrain, SharePoint, Info Center Board, GlobeShare coordinatorCoordinate & assist in the updating of SOPsSet up & maintain filing system for documentation in accordance with 5S principlesOrder & maintain supplies needed to support the areaFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities as assigned

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree in Business, office administration, or relevant field of study from an accredited university preferredMinimum of two (2) years as an Administrative Assistant or Production Coordinator requiredAbility to read/write/understand complicated production & GMP documentation a plusDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) requiredWritten & verbal communication skills to allow interaction will all levels of operations & management preferredAbility to organize GMP related documentation with exceptional attention to detail a plusAnticipate project needs to ensure all required assistance, support systems, & documentation is available preferred
