Job Description

Somerset is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to multiple departments.

Essential Function Responsibilities:

  • Performs the scheduling function for multiple departments assuring daily, weekly, hourly staffing needs are achieved without issues/contract violations.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely administrations of the production payroll process.
  • Provides administrative assistance as necessary.
Preferred candidates will possess the following skills:
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office required)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities
  • Self-starter, demonstrates a sense of urgency, follow-up and completion of tasks
  • Ability to work and take direction from several people
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees
  • HRIS system or prior payroll experience and/ or knowledgeable of company pay policy and labor contract a plus.

High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
