What you will be doing.
A Software Engineering Degree apprenticeship involves working alongside experienced and world leading software engineers. It combines both block release to University and on line learning, where you will acquire an Honours Degree, with time working on real projects, enhancing the skills necessary to develop a long career in the industry. Through this combination of academic study and real work experience, you will become a software engineer capable of writing requirements, designs, software code and tests. The work placement element of the course involves a wide range of activities for example: developing and testing aircraft displays, producing ground based equipment or the latest training simulators.
Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager
What Qualification Will You Get?
By the end of the apprenticeship you will obtain:
• BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Software Engineering or Computer Science.
