School Administrator Vacancy - Secondary School in Prestwich
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized School Administrator to join our secondary school in Prestwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and experience with SIMS to support the smooth running of the school.
Position: School Administrator
Location: Prestwich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Ongoing, with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidateKey Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain student records using the SIMS system
Provide general administrative support to the school office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling student inquiries
Assist with the preparation of reports, letters, and other documents
Support with admissions, attendance monitoring, and student data management
Coordinate communication between staff, parents, and external agencies
Assist with school events and other administrative tasks as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working as a school administrator, ideally in a secondary school environment
Proficient in using the SIMS system (essential)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
