Neighbourhood Assistant - Temp until end of March 2025 - St. Helens

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Neighbourhood Assistant on a temporary basis on behalf of a well-established housing association in Merseyside, contracted until the end of March 2025.
This is an office based role, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Your new role

• Supporting Neighbourhood Officers and Neighbourhood Managers with clerical and administrative functions
  
• Speaking to tenants and providing advice & guidance on a range of housing/tenancy management issues they may be facing.
  
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing emails, arranging appointments, managing diaries, planning and organising meetings and taking minutes.
  
• Providing responses to landlord reference requests
  
• Liaising with Income, Tenancy Sustainment, Allocations & Lettings teams to ensure demand and income maximisation
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of working in a Neighbourhood/Housing setting, dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
  
• Ability to identify issues and risks when speaking to tenants
  
• Ability to promote initiatives to support tenants digitally, through employment opportunities and tenancy sustainment
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  
• Confident IT user

• Hourly rates up to £17.60 per hour
