Project Manager – Groundworks – London
AA Euro Group are working with leading groundworks contractor specializing in civil engineering, earthworks, and foundation construction. With a reputation for excellence in delivering complex groundwork projects on time and within budget, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of groundworks projects, including earthworks, foundations, drainage, and structural concrete.
* Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of projects to client specifications.
* Oversee the development of project programs, schedules, and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks.
* Monitor daily construction activities to ensure quality, health, and safety standards are maintained on-site.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide regular updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Ensure compliance with contract conditions, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations.
* Prepare progress reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Manage site resources efficiently, including labor, plant, and materials.
* Drive a culture of safety, productivity, and excellence within the project team.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on groundworks, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong understanding of construction processes, groundworks techniques, and industry regulations.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management software, MS Project, and relevant IT tools.
* Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
* Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., CIOB, ICE, or RICS).
* Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or public infrastructure projects
