Interim Financial Accountant
3-4 months
£(Apply online only) Per Day
Hybrid working, 1 day a week on site in London
About the client
Morgan Law are seeking an interim Financial Accountant for a charity in the London area.
Accountabilities
Payment processing of payroll journals and non-project expenditure
Perform month end procedures (bank reconciliation, debtor, and creditor ledger reconciliation, etc). perform year end procedures and produce annual financial statements and liaise with auditors
Work through any backlog of unreconciled accounts
Ensure financial policies are adhered to and help maintain and develop new policies as required
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting Candidate Requirements
Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or similar qualification (qualification by experience would be considered)
Very recent experience working for a not for profit organisation/charity (E)
Experience of reviewing donor contracts and preparing subcontracts
Experience of dealing with debtor, and creditor ledger reconciliations
Experience of preparing payroll Journals
Good knowledge of Access Dimensions (E)
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalCampaign Timeline
