Job Description
Our client based near Knaresborough is recruiting for two Industry managers who will be responsible for developing and executing the vision, goals, and plans for their industry segment. You will analyse market trends, customer needs, competitive threats, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and risks.
The working week is Monday – Friday, working from the office and there will also be occasional travel across the UK. In return our client is offering a salary of £35k - £45k with OTE £55K- £65K.
Responsibilities:
* To manage a list of established and developing accounts in your industry sector.
* To promote the business to new customers by leveraging understanding of their business and how solution can help them to achieve their goals.
* To accurately manage sales forecasts using ‘Opportunities’ in CRM – ensuring key dates and commercials are maintained as live information.
* To meet revenue expectations through consistent and high-quality sales activities
* Focus on maintaining and strengthening existing key customer relationships whilst working to acquire new business to meet company growth expectations
* Identifying key prospects and decision makers and building relationships with these stakeholders.
* Attend onsite and online meetings with prospects and customers to sell the benefits of product over competitors in the market.
* Identify opportunities to sell, upsell, and cross sell into your industry sector
* Manage opportunities through the sales process, maximising opportunities to increase order value and profitability.
* Maintain touchpoints with key customers, and the full buying unit, including external stakeholders from equipment dealerships.
* Responsible for all sales interactions with your customer accounts and setting criteria around how many in-person visits are required per annum to maintain relationships and wallet share.
* Accountable for sales conversions for your accounts – won and lost sales
* Accountable for providing adequate information to the business regarding sales pipelines and forecasts (in CRM)
* Accountable for providing sufficient information to delivery teams in Contract Review meetings.
* Responsible for identifying the lifetime value of all accounts and both short- and long-term opportunities.
Experience:
* Consultative Sales Experience in a B2B environment required – 3 + years
* Experience presenting business ideas to internal or external teams is required
* Marketing experience is advantageous
* Charismatic and likeable, with an ability to engage stakeholder
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbalTechnical training is not essential but must have an aptitude for selling technical solutions
