Job Description

Locum Pharmacist – Band 6/7
Location: Kent
3-6 Month Contract – Immediate Start
£24 - £30 per hour | 3-5 Days a Week

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6/7 Locum Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital in Kent for a 3-6 month contract, with an immediate start available. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in both medical and surgical wards as well as dispensary services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmacy support on medical and surgical wards
Conduct ward rounds, offering medication advice and optimization
Dispense medication accurately and efficiently
Assist with medicines management and patient safety initiatives
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective use of medications
Key Requirements:

Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Previous experience in hospital pharmacy, ideally within medical and surgical wards
Strong dispensary experience
Excellent communication and team-working skills
