Mechanical Project Manager
Northampton
£70 - £75,000 per annum plus package
Our client is a fast growing building services contractor, with a full order book and exciting plans through 2025 and beyond. They now have a need position for a Project Manager to join the Mechanical business, predominantly to service a major clients Northampton office M&E project works. The role will be predominantly focused to the clients premises in Northampton, but as the projects develop, this may well result in travel further afield as the business requires.
The immediate requirement for the PM on site in Northampton is to project manage the replacement of existing end of life AHU’s & Toilet Extract systems over a phased replacement. Construction is already underway on this project.
The role will require close collaboration with numerous stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including but not limited to the following: designers both internal and external, architects, estimating department, key account leads, project commercial teams both in house and client side, sub-contractors, manufacturers and specialist suppliers, client agents, commissioning teams and high-profile customers. The Project Manager will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing the delivery and ensuring that each project is suitably resourced and closed out in a professional manner, to the highest of standards.
The ideal candidate will be from a contracting background, with formal qualifications in a mechanical trade, and experience as either a mechanical project manager or a mechanical contracts manager.
On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of between £70 - £75,000 per annum, travel allowance/vehicle, private healthcare and pension.
