Job Description
EC&I Engineer / Chemicals / Contract / 6 months minimum / Outside IR35 / Lancashire
I represent a global Chemical Manufacturer that make materials that can be seen in everyday life spanning from mobile phones, transportation, and medical devices. We are looking for a technically minded EC&I Engineer with an Electrical bias to operate as part of the Engineering team on projects and management of change on their COMAH facility based in Lancashire.
Our client has an affinity for driving and adhering to change, constantly keeping in line with climate change, social demographics, and technological advancements. Their products are also being used to support the global change towards hydrogen; a very diverse and exciting company to be aligned with.
If you are a “doer” that doesn’t mind getting stuck in, then this might be the position for you. The role will predominantly be projects based, looking at electrical equipment asset lifecycle and reliability issues and supporting commissioning.
What you will need to be successful:
Due to the nature of the work, you will need experience working on a heavy process facility i.e. Chemicals, Petrochem, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Pharma etc. Why? Because the work you will be doing will include Hazardous Area classification, assisting with LOPA and HAZOP studies, documentation and specification.

* Rates on offer: £50p/h - £57p/h (DOE)
* Outside IR35
* Likely to be 12 month contract
