Sales and Marketing Assistant
We’re pleased to partner with a respected company in the defense and security sector that’s eager to welcome a Sales and Marketing Assistant to their Sales Team. This role will provide vital support to both UK and international clients, handling a range of administrative, sales, and marketing tasks that are crucial to account management and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quotation Preparation: Create precise, customized quotations based on client specifications and analysis of project requirements.
* Order Processing and Documentation: Manage the end-to-end process of order fulfillment, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
* Client Coordination: Collaborate with the Sales Team to confirm project timelines, set realistic client expectations, and promptly resolve queries.
* Financial Follow-up: Oversee invoicing, pursue overdue payments, and prepare Pro Forma invoices to maintain cash flow.
* Regulatory Compliance: Handle End User Undertakings, submit export license applications, and ensure all processes align with industry regulations.
* Logistics and Freight Calculation: Assess shipment weights, dimensions, and NEQs to obtain competitive freight costs.
* Shipping Coordination: Work with freight forwarders and shipping companies to streamline the transportation of goods, ensuring all paperwork and compliance requirements are in place.
* Client Communication: Respond to inquiries about quotes, orders, and shipping timelines, maintaining a proactive and helpful dialogue.
* Relationship Management: Foster strong, lasting relationships with clients, addressing their needs and building trust to support long-term partnerships.
* Marketing and Exhibition Support: Assist with marketing activities, including event preparation and exhibit coordination, to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.
* Reporting and Analytics: Conduct routine reporting and analysis to track sales performance and improve operational processes.
