Job Description
We have a current opportunity for a Electrical Engineer on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review detailed electrical designs and technical drawings.
Create full electrical schematic diagrams of the new systems, mcc's etc including cable schedules, JB layout, electrical interface diagrams.
Ensure all designs comply with the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
Plan and implement cable runs, including specifying appropriate materials and methods.
Design and specify junction boxes and other essential components.
Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure successful project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve any design or implementation issues that arise.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical standards and best practicesYou will need:
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a focus on technical drawing and electrical design.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
Strong understanding of cable runs, specifications, and junction boxes.
Proficiency in using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
