Job Description

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Our client, a leading player in the civil engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects while driving cost efficiency and maintaining exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
Provide detailed valuations, cost estimates, and financial reports.
Manage procurement processes and establish strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
Monitor project progress on-site to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
Administer contracts, including handling variations and preparing final accounts.
Candidate Requirements:

Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT).
Proficiency in cost management tools and software.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (RICS/ICES accreditation is advantageous).
