Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Manchester, Wythenshawe, Cheadle Hulme, Failsworth, Rochdale, Oldham, Salford, Heywood
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed-Term
Salary: Competitive (Depending on Experience)

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN, ensuring they meet their individual learning objectives.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and other professionals.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and support students with diverse needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Monitor and assess progress, maintaining accurate records and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Work closely with the wider school team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create an inclusive classroom environment.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues on SEN best practices.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and relevant legislation, such as the SEND Code of Practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
