Job Description
Area Engineering Manager - Warrington
NRL are recruiting an AEM on behalf of our client in the nuclear sector, to Lead and direct a multi-disciplinary Engineering Team to deliver a technical solution for the allocated area that meets corresponding requirements, associated performance conditions and constraints in the Functional Specification for the area, to the agreed time, cost and quality.
Areas of responsibility:
Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality company procedures, policies, legislative, requirements as relevant to the area.
Develop, own and execute the design engineering elements of the schedule and estimate for the area.
Manage scope and Design Change for the Area.
Accurately report and forecast progress for the area in terms of time cost and scope delivered.
What you will need:
Minimum requirement:- Significant experience working in an engineering design environment in roles where knowledge of engineering was a key attribute. Recent experience working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles where professional engineering judgement is the key attribute.
Essential qualifications:
Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or Equivalent) subject
Minimum – HNC
Appropriate (Engineering or Scientific) Institution Membership.
Minimum – Incorporated Engineer
Desirable experience:
Preferred requirement: Minimum requirement plus 8 years within the last 10years in engineering design.
Desirable qualifiactions:
Preferred – M Eng.
Preferred – Chartered Engineer
