About the Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the Managing Director, ensuring precise and competitive project costing to support the company’s growth and commitment to quality. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a steady flow of projects, engaging both residential and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and accurate estimates across a variety of project types, with careful consideration of cost, time, and resource requirements.
* Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to align cost strategies with business goals.
* Evaluate project plans and specifications to provide competitive pricing and sound risk assessment.
* Stay informed of industry trends, materials, and labour costs to maintain up-to-date and competitive estimates.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction, refurbishment, or fit-out industries.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, supporting senior management effectively.
* Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and Excel.
