Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager | Witney | Excellent salary plus benefits:

A leading specialist manufacturer located in the Witney area is looking to hire a Procurement Manager to manage all purchasing activities in the UK, ensuring the efficient supply of all required parts and components into this manufacturing business. This role perfectly combines day to day operational and strategic purchasing duties.

To be successful in this role of Procurement Manager we would like to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• Previous experience in purchasing management within a manufacturing, SME environment;
• Experience of managing cost down within a production environment with a good understanding of how products are engineered and manufactured;
• People management experience;
• Effective negotiation and supplier management skills;
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers;
• Level 5 or 6 CIPS qualification is preferable but not essential;
• Strong business and commercial outlook.

Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £63,000pa, with an excellent benefits package and a company bonus. The company has a wide-ranging benefits package, they offer training and development and really look after their staff.
