What You’ll Do:

• Lead building surveys, defect analysis, and site investigations to ensure safe and compliant properties.
• Prepare specifications, tender documents, and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and cost control.
• Provide expert advice to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders on technical matters and compliance with legislation.
• Deliver projects in line with RICS standards, health and safety regulations, and current building legislation.
• Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Use CAD proficiently to create and review design work.
• Apply your knowledge of project management to deliver smooth, efficient project execution.
• Develop and refine specifications to guide project outcomes effectively.

What You’ll Need:

• Professional membership or working towards Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent).
• HNC/HND in a building maintenance-related discipline.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, construction legislation, and health and safety practices (including asbestos risks).
• Experience in building surveying, with a track record of delivering quality work and overseeing multiple projects.
• Proficiency in CAD, alongside a strong understanding of design, project management, and specification writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
