Senior Reinsurance Contract Wordings Specialist - Lloyd's Insurer

Miryco Consultants are working with a prestigious, global Lloyd's Market Speciality Insurer in the search for a Senior Reinsurance Contract Wording Specialist to work alongside their Head of Wordings in a dynamic and front-facing wordings department.

This role would suit an experienced Wordings professional with at least 5 years of experience in contract wordings or as a qualified solicitor in a reinsurance or broking environment. Our client's ideal candidate will be an energetic and proactive Wordings professional, keen to take ownership of new projects to assist in the firm's growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with industry-leading underwriters and legal teams, take ownership for the drafting, negotiation and review of contract wordings to ensure the accurate reflection of speciality insurance coverage.
• Ensure minimum clause standards meet market requirements, in line with the group's risk appetite & strategy.
• Publish guidance and provide training to support junior underwriters with contract wording.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in Contract Wordings or as a qualified Solicitor in broking or reinsurance.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and critical thinking skills.

Location: London (Hybrid) with opportunities to work abroad

Salary: £110,000 - £125,000
