Electrical Teaching Assistant/Technician

Lemur Associates are currently working with a Further Education College to source an Electrical Assistant/Technician to help work in the colleges workshop. The role comes with 13 weeks holiday and future prospects of teaching.

Package:-

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Some flex if a former Electrician)

Job Description:-

* Minimum of level 3 Electrical Installation (236 or NVQ) qualification.

* Ideally at least 3 years industry experience within the Electrical Industry.

* Holds a full UK Driving Licence.

* City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified is desirable.

* City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle charging is desirable.

* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable.

* Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent) is desirable.

* Experience in maintaining a site facility is desirable.

* Ensuring H&S compliance is adhered too

* Setting up the Electrical workshop

* Maintaining equipment

* Cleaning Equipment

* Stock taking

* Demonstrating how to use equipment within workshop

* Student Supervision

Hours of Work - Full-time Mon-Fri 36 hours
Contract - Permanent

Role Requirements:-

For this position it is essential that you have worked with Electrical Installations previously. Qualifications within the subject would be essential as well.
