Mechanical Engineer
Location: Telford (Midlands-Based Projects)
Salary: £65,000 per annum + Comprehensive Package

Are you a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in delivering multi-million-pound projects? We are a prominent M&E contractor based in Telford, and we’re looking for an exceptional Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in high-end commercial, MOD, MOJ, and education projects, all based in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for large-scale projects in high-end commercial, MOD, MOJ, and education sectors.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure all mechanical systems are designed and installed to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
* Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications.
* Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any challenges that arise on-site.
* Prepare detailed design calculations, technical specifications, and reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s technical capabilities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong background in high-end commercial, MOD, MOJ, or education projects.
* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
* Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
