About Our Client: They are a leading contractor specialising in affordable housing, with a focus on planned refurbishments and cladding projects in London (Hertfordshire Office). Their commitment to excellence and their dedication to improving communities set them apart.
Your Role: As a Contracts Manager, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality refurbishment projects for recognised registered social landlords. Reporting to the Construction Director, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing 3-4 projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
* Collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
* Implementing rigorous health and safety measures, particularly in occupied social housing environments.
* Providing leadership and guidance to project teams to foster a culture of excellence and safety.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Your Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience working on occupied social housing refurbishments is essential.
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably in the affordable housing sector.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent project management abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
* A commitment to improving communities and providing safe, sustainable housing solutions.
