As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with the class teacher to support students across all key stages. You'll provide one-on-one and small-group support, assist with interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students with SEN, learning difficulties, and emotional challenges
Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behavior
Adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs
Helping students develop social, emotional, and academic skills
Monitoring student progress and providing additional support when needed
Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a passion for working with children and supporting their growth
Is patient, empathetic, and loves to build meaningful relationships with students
Has experience in education (or is keen to gain it)
Is proactive and enthusiastic about helping students succeed
Holds (or is willing to work toward) a qualification in education or child development (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
Experience working with SEN or SEMH students is a plus, but not required!
