The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our Humanities Department on a temporary basis starting in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an early career teacher to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world in your students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Uphold the school’s high standards of teaching, learning, and behavior management.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Geography and the ability to inspire students.
A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
