An established independent, multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 40 years of expertise is looking for a dedicated Building Surveyor to join their growing team based in Surrey.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor seeking a structured career progression path, working on major insurance claim projects within a collaborative and expanding organisation.
The Successful Building Surveyor's Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will be a key member of the team, engaging in both residential and commercial property projects, particularly focusing on major insurance claims.
This position offers a full spectrum of professional and project service lines, enabling you to develop and hone your surveying expertise within a well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a range of building surveying services across both residential and commercial properties
Manage significant insurance-related projects from initiation to completion
Provide professional surveying advice, including defect analysis and technical assessments
Collaborate with senior professionals to ensure high-quality project delivery
Benefit from structured development support, with opportunities for career advancement
The Ideal Building Surveyor
RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying (MRICS beneficial but not essential)
Previous experience within a construction-focused practice, ideally with residential expertise
Self-motivated, commercially aware, and confident in client-facing roles
Commitment to professional growth and service excellence
