Salary: £76.98-£85 per day

Key Responsibilities
Support the Food Technology teacher in delivering engaging and practical lessons that align with the Curriculum for Wales.
Assist students with hands-on cooking activities, ensuring safety and effective learning outcomes.
Help set up and organize the classroom for practical lessons, managing materials, equipment, and ingredients.
Support students’ individual learning needs, providing encouragement and guidance to enhance their confidence and skills.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting teamwork, hygiene, and respect for health and safety guidelines.
About You
The ideal candidate is a Teaching Assistant with experience in Food Technology who is passionate about working with students and has a practical knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety. You should be organized, patient, and enthusiastic about inspiring young learners.
Requirements
Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a background in Food Technology or a related field.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
A positive, flexible approach to supporting students’ learning needs and adapting to a dynamic classroom environment.
