Job Description
On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled Outage & Projects Engineer to manage and deliver outage planning, infrastructure, maintenance, and engineering projects at Fellside CHP Plant. This role ensures operational excellence, supporting seamless project completion, health, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, budget, and oversee annual plant outages and infrastructure maintenance activities
Lead outage planning meetings, maintain clear communication with client and site teams, and manage contractor integration into site programs
Develop project budgets, secure funding, and manage cost controls with contractors
Supervise mechanical, electrical, and civil works, ensuring timely completion and quality adherence
Oversee inspections (CUI, WHRB, storage tanks, PCI) and coordinate defect actioning with third-party specialists
Utilise CMMS for work order management and reporting Essential Skills & Experience:
HNC or equivalent in engineering
Proven expertise in outage planning, project delivery, and contractor management within power generation or process industries
Proficient in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and understanding of health, safety, and procurement processes This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the operational success at Fellside CHP Plant
