MEP Project Manager

My client is a multi-discipline, innovative Principal Contractor within the Construction industry, specialising in critical systems and Data Centre projects. Due to securing a new contract in Gloucestershire, a lead MEP Project Manager is required to manage a full site-team and the scheme from pre-construction to handover – a 52 week programme.

Responsibilities:
Take full ownership and accountability for MEP contracts, from tendering stage to final handover.
Provide accurate and detailed MEP cost estimates, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with the design team to review MEP specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.
Oversee the procurement process for MEP equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
Implement effective project management practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure that MEP installations meet the highest standards and client expectations.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide guidance and support to the site team regarding MEP installations, troubleshooting, and resolving any technical challenges.
Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes, applying them to enhance project delivery and drive continuous improvement
